Hey, peoples, I hope all of you enjoyed Thanksgiving, and are still enjoying your leftover turkey and tofurkey(according to PETA). Yesterday, was Black Friday, which is supposedly the busiest shopping day of the year. Since the Holidays are coming up, I decided to do some of the best tech of the year.

Cell Phones: Alright 2 cell phones here. First the iPhone: made by Apple the 3G edition came out this year. The price tag is $200, but if you have the money it is definitely worth it. The different apps make it a very useful tool, and one of the greatest features is iTunes, you can download songs right on to the phone. Along with that is surfing the internet, and of course, the touch screen.
Next is the Blackberry Storm, equally pricey, and it does the same thing. I have heard the clicking sound and the keyboard are useful features on the phone. If you like Verizon more than AT&T this would be a better choice.
For all people just looking for a phone verizonwireless.com has free phones with the Verizon plan.

Video Games: First, the massive MMORPG which I recently reviewed, World of Warcraft. Good game, but addicting. Just ask the teenager who binged on the game for 24 hours and eventually passed out from lack of nourishment and sleep deprivation. Consider that a warning.
Spore: reviewed number one in “computing” from Popular Science. This great game takes you through evolution in 5 stages, where you choose the path you follow. You go from controlling a single cell to an animal, to a tribe, to a city, to a spaceship. The best feature is you design your creature up to the tribe stage, and after that you can design buildings and vehicles. Warning: patience is needed for the game to be fun.
Guitar Hero: World Tour: Same as the first 3 games, and again I reviewed it before in the Video Game installment. It is one of those games that you have to play.

Computers and accessories: Skype. It’s a new computer application(free) that you can download online right now.(skype.com) You also need headphones that work with the application. You also need a friend somewhere who does the exact same thing. The point? You can talk to people all across the world on your computer, and talk to multiple people at the same time. The addition? With a web cam you can see people across the world. Just another way to communicate, except awesomer.

On a final note: brands of computers to look for. Dell: a trusted source for computers for years. Alienware: A little pricier but they are the leader in gaming computers. Their computers are enough to drool over, which I haven’t actually done. Apple: They’re new, and if you can get past understanding how everything works, it can be pretty awesome.

OK, Cool website of the week: instantaction.com. The idea is that you can play games(which are just as good as games on xbox, wii, or PS… um, what number are they using now?) on the internet. It is very cool, and is currently my favorite website.

If you have any suggestions on what I should do for future… installments? then comment below!
